Is Swimming Effective For Weightloss Or Just Muscle Gain?
I have swam recently and really want to take it up. i want to lose about 50lb in weight. i had a piggish year and feel so lethargic. i want to lose this weight and tone up. i do not want to look bulky. i have heard mixed things about the effects swimming has on your body in regards to weightloss vs muscle tone. any advice please??correct me if i am wrong but did i not say twice that weightloss was my main priority? there is always one that has to be negative. Is This A Good Weightloss Plan?
I did this yesterday, and today. i think i lost like 2 or 3 pounds or so. i see changes in my body moreso than the scale.a half an hour before breakfest i take my lipo 6 black fat loss pill. i usually take 2. if i take the whole three it gives me stomach cramping.for breakfest i have a cup of total cereal (170 cal.) and a piece of fruit or two. its usually about 250, 300 cal. (i round up)i wait at least 45 min. after eating breakfest and go on the treadmill. sometimes i take another lipo 6 black, but it tends to hurt my stomach. figure about 10 min. of jogging at 5.5/ 5.7 mph. i do about 15 min at a brisk walk of 4.0-4.2 mph. then i do a cool down of 3.5 mph for 5 min. so that comes to 30 min. then i cool down dropping speed for 2 or 3 min. i take a rest then drink. i have two more lipo pills 1/ 2 hr before dinner. i try to keep lunch a bigger meal than dinner, so i can burn it off. i usually have rice, a cup (165 cal.) and sometimes some veggies (70-100 cal). i usually just have fruit, sometimes more rice, or sometimes veggies for dinner.i eat snacks of fruit in between meals, because ive heard having several small meals through the day helps with weightloss. i plan to keep this up for 2 weeks. (cause thats the healthy amout when taking lipo 6 black) i keep my calories under 1,500 usually 1,000 or 1,200i want to loose 10-20 lbs. do you think it will work?experienced people 's answers are valued.thankstips are nice! I wasn 't completely sure where to post this kind of question, so i 'll just start here :) i 'm on a mission to lose about 50 lbs, and motivation is a very hard thing for me to come by and stick with. i was wondering if anyone knows of any free programs a person can download and input a picture of oneself at their current weight and have it resized to show what their body might look like at a different weight? i 've tried the whole thing with finding a picture of a person with a similar body type, printing out the pic and taping it up everywhere so you see it everyday, but what better way to get the motivation up than to see what your actual self could look like? thanks for any help! Three days ago i decided i wanted to tone down my stomach so i made a drastic cut in my diet and did 15 minute ab crunches each day. apart from doing everyday activities i did no other exercise. however, in 3 days i lost 2 pounds. is this normal? or too much in such a short span of time?i 'm not overweight i 'm 5 '7 and 116 pounds. well now i am. but i dont have an eating disorder i 'm just trying to tone my stomach which is what gains any weight which makes me look weird because everything else of me is so skinny. so im thinking maybe this isnt the best way to tone a stomach. i don 't want to lose weight anywhere else just on my stomach (Read answers)

Is My Weightloss Goal Realistic?
So six weeks ago i decided that i wanted to lose some weight and get fit, i got tired of being the way i was and thats the first step in determining weight loss. i also said to myself im really going to do it this time. so everyday i 'd do a four minute run to start pumping my body up, during the day i 'd do intense dance practicing and at a night a ten minute run. from that i lost a couple pounds, recently i changed it to intense cardio 30 minutes during the day and 20 minutes at night plus intense dancing. i went from a fit 229 - 224 i of course didn 't meet my school goal but heres my question with my cardio and dancing, and plus walking at school will i a size 8 or 3 by winter be a bit too much? or is it handleable? i 'm talking about getting seriously active now, i drink protein shakes doctor prescribed to my mom but said it was good for your kid to drink especially if they are in the process of losing weight. i 've never missed a day, and i 'm learning my limits of when i shouldn 't eat and when to eat. eat when i am actually hungry. and not because i 'm bored. i often fill up at lunch [moderation of course] so it will hold me over until dinner time which means less snacking. i 'm really hoping to surprise myself with some new clothes, so far i 've only achived a more flat stomach, keep in mind i have a curvy shape and wide hips so my stomach was always kinda on the flat side although it wasn 't noticeable that i was so overweight. i knew it. Are There Any Computer Programs To Show Weightloss?
I wasn 't completely sure where to post this kind of question, so i 'll just start here :) i 'm on a mission to lose about 50 lbs, and motivation is a very hard thing for me to come by and stick with. i was wondering if anyone knows of any free programs a person can download and input a picture of oneself at their current weight and have it resized to show what their body might look like at a different weight? i 've tried the whole thing with finding a picture of a person with a similar body type, printing out the pic and taping it up everywhere so you see it everyday, but what better way to get the motivation up than to see what your actual self could look like? thanks for any help! Is This Much Weightloss Normal?
Three days ago i decided i wanted to tone down my stomach so i made a drastic cut in my diet and did 15 minute ab crunches each day. apart from doing everyday activities i did no other exercise. however, in 3 days i lost 2 pounds. is this normal? or too much in such a short span of time?i 'm not overweight i 'm 5 '7 and 116 pounds. well now i am. but i dont have an eating disorder i 'm just trying to tone my stomach which is what gains any weight which makes me look weird because everything else of me is so skinny. so im thinking maybe this isnt the best way to tone a stomach. i don 't want to lose weight anywhere else just on my stomach (Read answers)

I am 23 year old female. i am 4 '11 tall and i weigh 127 lbs. i am vegetarian and trying to lose a little bit of weight. around 10-15 lbs. i normally don 't eat very much a day anyway. i looked up a few "recommended calorie intake " and all of them suggested that i eat around 1700 to lose weight! i think if i ate that many i 'd either stay put or gain more. but i found one that said i should eat 1400 a day. ive been doing that all week and it seems to be working well. i am just wondering how many i really should be eating, and today i only ate 900 and i am stuffed. i actually ate 3 full meals too. so is this unhealthy to only be eating around 1200 calories (or less) a day?ok just to prove that im not starving myself haha!brunch(approx 200 cals) black bean & sweet potato stewsoda waterlunch (approx 400 cals)one slice cheese pizza one peice plain breadwater w/ lemondinner (approx 300 calories)green salad with breaded tofu slices2 packets fat free dressingwater with lemon (Read answers)

Is My Weightloss Goal Realistic?
So six weeks ago i decided that i wanted to lose some weight and get fit, i got tired of being the way i was and thats the first step in determining weight loss. i also said to myself im really going to do it this time. so everyday i 'd do a four minute run to start pumping my body up, during the day i 'd do intense dance practicing and at a night a ten minute run. from that i lost a couple pounds, recently i changed it to intense cardio 30 minutes during the day and 20 minutes at night plus intense dancing. i went from a fit 229 - 224 i of course didn 't meet my school goal but heres my question with my cardio and dancing, and plus walking at school will i a size 8 or 3 by winter be a bit too much? or is it handleable? i 'm talking about getting seriously active now, i drink protein shakes doctor prescribed to my mom but said it was good for your kid to drink especially if they are in the process of losing weight. i 've never missed a day, and i 'm learning my limits of when i shouldn 't eat and when to eat. eat when i am actually hungry. and not because i 'm bored. i often fill up at lunch [moderation of course] so it will hold me over until dinner time which means less snacking. i 'm really hoping to surprise myself with some new clothes, so far i 've only achived a more flat stomach, keep in mind i have a curvy shape and wide hips so my stomach was always kinda on the flat side although it wasn 't noticeable that i was so overweight. i knew it. Protien Shakes Weightloss Aid Or Will I Gain?
I am desperatly trying to lose my final 8lb ( total 39lb!!) am working out four to five times a week ( 2hrs gym 3 times plus pole dancing and body pump) my problem is i still feel skinny fat and someone told me it was because i needed more calories from protien. my diet is very low gi with cals around 1200 to 1500 a day ( am five foot five and 138lb) i eat five times a day, three meals and two snack of nuts/ seeds/ fruit) eg. breakfast 1 poached egg with wilted spinach and burgin bread snack fresh fruit lunch chicken breast with large salad snack 5 brazil nuts dinner salmon with veg and brown rice2/ 3 ltrs water a daysomeone said to add a protien shake after my evening workout but won 't that make me gain weight? have not lost weight for five weeks and am getting to then point of thinking sod it!! and stuffing my face with cake!!
